IPL 2020 set to be played in UAE [IPL 2020] IPL 2020 September Start In UAE

The 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was scheduled to start on March 29, but had to be postponed due to the Corona virus epidemic.

Now this big T20 tournament is coming against the news that it will be held in Dubai in September. Earlier, there were reports of information from Dubai for the Indian cricket team's practice camp.

According to reports, the IPL franchise owners met earlier this week and had no plans for the IPL this year. The report also said that the BCCI is monitoring the IPL in September-November.

Ganguly had earlier said that hosting the IPL in India was a priority, but the board would not hesitate to move out of the country if the situation did not improve.

Under the Corona virus protocol, if the IPL takes place in the UAE, the match will take place in an empty stadium. But according to the report, if people in the IPL watch more on TV, then it will make little difference whether the matches will be in an empty field or in a stadium full of spectators. The Middle East country favors the BCCI as a destination.

The stadiums in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are not far from each other and adequate infrastructure is available for players, officials and broadcasting officials. IPL teams will arrive in the UAE a month before the start of the tournament.

The Asia Cup in September has been postponed. In such a scenario, the BCCI is now eyeing the ICC's T20 World Cup decision.

If the ICC postpones the T20 World Cup, the IPL is a possibility. Earlier, the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) had offered the BCCI that it could host its league here this time if it wanted to. This was reported in a popular newspaper in June.

According to the report, the BCCI plans to host the league in September and October. Because the T20 World Cup in Australia is also expected to be canceled this year.

However, the final decision will be taken at the ICC meeting. On July 17, the BCCI's Apex Council is meeting to discuss these issues.

However, it is also certain that organizing a camp in the UAE will not be easy. Because the BCCI wants to hold small camps to check the fitness of the players. But if the IPL is decided, the franchises of this league will also want to set up their own camp before the tournament.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is working hard to organize the world's largest T20 league, the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Given the status of the corona virus in India, the board is considering holding the league abroad in these circumstances.

In such a scenario, the BCCI is planning to host a national camp of its central contract players and the league in the UAE.
